that was cool, yes good lyrics.
the one i posted is of that kid earl sweatshirt who is actually in that other video i posted about the dark side of awakening and all that bizz. Well, this song gave me so much hope because it showed me that Earl is actually free! Like, when I listened to it it was really like my room filled with light and inspiration, I stayed up all night just on a natural high.

yeah i think there's a tendency in general to idolize musicians and make them into more than what they are actually appearing as. i've done this in the past anyways when i was more into music - and likewise made my favourite artist (jeff buckley) out to be some amazing enlightened being too (though his singing sure was good )

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hear lyrics, put my own meaning to them, and figure thats what the guy intended and he is definitely enlightened. I mostly do this with Bob Marley.

All real music is spiritual. Arabic music inside a desert tent under the night sky, Balkan traditional dances, Tibetan drums and symbols, Australian didgeridoos, African djembes, American folk songs.
And other hymnals from the soul...

Odd Future is a very deep movement going on with these kids in California and on the internet, the more you look into it the more you learn about them, they are on some next level shit. I feel that Earl is free not just because of the lyrics but because everything I've learned about him from listening to his and his stepbrother Tyler the Creators has painted a very detailed picture, one that I relate to closely. Like he is free in the way that I want to be free. I don't want to be free the way Mooji is I don't believe that following the path he has made available to me is exactly what I am going to do.

Bob Marley is a great person to look up too. Odd Future just happens to be in my own age group and doing it right now. Radiohead are some grizzled veterans that I really take inspiration from also. Same with the band GRIZZLY BEAR for that matter:

Best spiritual songs are usually the ones where authors say they don't have a clue where they came from. Beautiful songs people!
