When we soak for 24 hours we do this to germinate endospores to that they can be killed off in the PC cycle. If you do not soak for 24 hours these endospores do not gerinate and can survive the PCing.
You may end up with bacterial contaminations.

Rad, im gonna grow some maz on my next project, do u know what your temp and RH is? ive read that mazatapecs require higher temps than average cubes

I like keeping the mushrooms intact (not splitting them up) but good grow, youre right, those pins looked very healthy
