I've got the same kind of purple stains on a BRFtek... seems like a contamination too :-(

I have also been in contact with SporeFarmer and they sent me 3 new syringes to replace the 2 contamed ones from the first one of my orders. Stellar move on their behalf, I must admit... I'm waiting to hear back on the status of my last z strain order - if it will be replaced, but I remain hopeful. Looks like these folks made a mistake and sent a bunch of contamed syringes, but they appear to be owning up to it and doing what's necessary to make it right. Provided the last 3 I received don't contam (I'll know in a week or two) and my last order is replaced, I would say "kudos." But... we shall see..

Out of the 10 contamed z strain syringes I bought from Sporefarmer.com they sent me back 3... 2 z's and one Hawaiian PE. The z's actually colonized and the hawaiian PE... well.. did not grow. I've been reading reports of those assholes at SporeFarmer sending just distilled water (no spores) in their syringes. I believe it. My once solid contact, Chris, at SporeFarmer.com now won't return my emails. All in all, they screwed me out of 8 syringes. I'll never buy from SporeFarmer.com again. The Shroomery folks are totally right when they say not to mess with unapproved vendors. I'm an idiot and didn't listen. Taking all of our moderators' advise, I sought out a vendor - www.ralphstersspores.com. These guys got it right. They don't accept anything other than cash and money orders so, I put'em to the test and sent cash and a hand-written order with what I requested. Not only did I get my spores and my jars are colonizing beautifully but they actually emailed me when they shipped my order. Ralph - dude you're awesome!
