dude I would never try and report a dispensary because I was short 1.5g 
anyway, I went back in this morning and I was like "hey man, last time I was in here I bought 4g, and when I got home it looked a little light, so I weighed it and it was only 2.5g" and he was like "oh alright, did you bring it back?" and I was like "no, I was like 20 miles away when I weighed it and didn't wanna make the trip back"
he says "well next time if that ever happens just bring it back in and we'll make it right, you know I want to compensate you for our mistake"
I thanked him and was like "you know I'm not too worried about it, I'm sure it was just a high mistake haha"
so I bought 2g, 1g of Sour Blueberry and 1g of Diesel  soo chronic. He weighed out 1.4 on both bags and gave me a free $10 pre-rolled
just smoked half of it and I'm ripped.
Oh and to everyone who's been telling me to have them weigh it out...they do weigh it out. They have scales, it's not like they're just guessing and throwing nugs into a bag. "Mmm ya I guess that's 3g"

who knows, unless you see the actual number on the scale they might be ripping you off.
you already let the cat out of the bag so i doubt they'd try and short you again.
what you should've done was bought the same amount and weighed it out in the car. if it weighed short again you would've known they were ripping you off, instead of it being a mistake. or maybe they're selective scammers. oh well, i hate dealing with shady fuckers so that's what i would've done.

it is a dispensary. they have nothing to gain by giving their customers less than they purchased. This was the first time it has happened, and like I said, the bags are usually weighed heavy. It is pretty normal to buy 4 grams and end up with 4.6

yea but there are literally 15 dispensaries within a 10 minute bike ride of my house. So, I weigh all my purchases, and if they come up short consistently then I'll just go to a new one. They lose money doing that.

yeah but it's different with the medical system. Weedmaps is huge right now and people will leave negative feedback and a business will be effected. The market is fucking tough as it is (here in cali) and any negative feedback will send customers to one of the other 6 dispensaries on the same street
you want repeat customers, you gotta hook it up. I never see anyone come back with less than 1.2 if they bought a gram or 3.8-3.9 if they buy an 8th

I don't think anyone expected them to be guessing. Of course they have scales. My point was that if the medicine is pre weighed and bagged or jarred before you get to the place there is a possibility that the weight was misread or someone accidentally pinched the wrong jar. Having them weigh it again is a precaution to ensure fairness on both ends, not to be accusing or mistrusting of the facility.
