Background: I've done shrooms somewhere between 13 and 17 times.  I've done what was purported to be acid 3 times, 2-CI once, and thats about it - I've never had a bad trip before.  I've taken 7 grams of shrooms once and didnt find it too overwhelming.

It's a glorious autumn saturday, and my GF and i decide to shroom and maybe go for a walk, soak in the weather.  I wanted us to trip pretty hard.  We both have historically had an unnaturally high tolerance to drugs such as shrooms and E.  So we each took about 5.9 grams of powderized shrooms, melted into some chocolate balls.  They turned out to be Evil Chocale Balls.

I started feeling the effects about 7 minutes after ingestion.  I felt weak/sick and vision was screwy.  Never before has it set in this fast for me.  We lay in bed listening to Cold War Kids on my studio monitors.  Music was clear, vivid, sounded awesome.  We both felt really sick.  But that is normal for me, the sickness lasts about an hour and then the trip gets awesome.  This time, the sickness never relented.  About 45 minutes to an hour into it, i mentioned how awesome the music sounded, and my girlfriend replied "my stomach hurts" in a very desperate sounding tone of voice.  That was the turning point.  She went into the bathroom, and i began fearing that this was going to be a bad trip.  We had taken too much - this multispore grow proved to be much more potent than my previous grows.

The next two hours was hell on Earth.  There was nothing i could do to like stay positive, because for me it was more physical discomfort than anything mental.  I could barely move i was so stimulated.  I felt like psilo was coursing through my vains so much that i might die.  I had my head buried in the bed for most of it because when i opened my eyes, i felt sicker.  It was too much.  For my girlfriend, she had her eyes open and was completely hallucinating - she said i looked like a rat.  She was crying at one point.  I had to constantly reassure her that we were OK, and time would make everything better.  I myself wasn't sure if that was true, but I didn't want to voice my fears to her and make it worse. 

We decided to call her older sister to come save us.  What was scary is that i could barely function enough to find my phone and make the call.  When her sister finally got there, that coincided with the worst of it being over.  She helped reassure us, but at the same time i think it was just the timing.

When i felt well enough to open my eyes and look around, OH my god the visuals were awesome. I was seeing what looks like egyptian faces in my hardwood flors.  Faces in everything.  This was pretty cool, but obviously not worth if for what we went through.  Later that night, we were laughing about it, and I think we made out pretty well considering we didnt do anything stupid like hurt ourselves or call an ambulance (considered doing that).

Lesson learned, which you all should already know: don't do too much! When you have a new grow from an MS syringe, test out the waters with a 2 gram dose before diving in.  2 grams might be more than enough!
