also i know that cobweb grows fast my jars have been incubating for 2 weeks and the stuff in question was anywhere from just peeking through to 3/4 coverage i also accidentally kept the tin foil on the inoculated jar like a noob and wondering about the influance this may have. i also scraped off the top layer in question with a spoon and put them back to dunking

It was probably just mycelium. If you really think it's cobweb you could try a drop of H2O2. Cobweb will practically vanish as soon at the drop hit it.
Did it look something like this?

That's mycelium. Was just pointing out how sometimes the myc can look like cobweb.

I just want to agree that it is mycelium most probably. Seeking for new food sources as it passes the verm layer, it goes into economy mode to scout. That's why it's so thin.

so i have em in there its been about two and a half days and they look like they have some of the same familiar fuzziness on them i dont know if that is because the myc. has room to freely grow or its contam. it is pure white though

It's probably fine. Should see some knots appear pretty soon where the fuzz starts forming little clumps.
