Bringing home edibles left and right, but Cyan patches are not showing anything.
Have had six consecutive days of Kings, some thirty caps in total

And a killer patch of Shaggys, about 200 intact caps

Yes, confirm what Civ found today
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15361829
Finally starting to show in some of the more traditional areas like GGP. The grass is just starting to get thick enough now, so it should gradually improve after this week and hopefully we won't get anymore dry east wind heatwaves
basically the first I've seen this year in more normal areas...slow, late start, but it'll get there as long as it stays reasonably cool and humid

because it's just the beginning of the season for us in the bay area.
these from today are in generally shady areas, but only a few are watered. some are definitely not watered manually and one of the patches (closeups) is a transplant i did years ago specifically as a test patch to find out when the season starts properly(meaning when temps drop enough/humidity-generally when they decide it time to fruit)
early spot, shaded all day, not irrigated...completely natural and in the public wild
your patches probably will fruit like that pretty soon, and we have some more rain coming
and thanks to everybody
PS...the one photo with the most fruits...that's watered daily, so to give you an idea of the variables
some of the other patches not exactly irrigated, more like nearby and get a bit of a squirt now and then
really a wide variety of habitat ..so it's never going to be all at the same time
and PPS...you may suddenly feel like you have to get out there tomorrow or else...Don't worry about it
I'll repeat again...WE STILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME IN THIS SEASON...WE WON'T PEAK UNTIL CHRISTMAS
it's not a day to day thing. they just don't grow that fast...it's more like week to week

PS...i forgot to mention I left most of them out there
most of those are not ready for prime time yet...hehe
I'll refer to this again next week, and you'll see how this is different from the pin raping PNW
can you keep a location secret for the rest of your life?

great finds as always auweia, inspiring me to take the bike out of storage this weekend.
are those ones in the 4th from the bottom growing mold on them? What do you do with the ones that are a little past their prime, that are turning dark like a few in that picture? are they still viable or is it better to leave them be?

Ran D I found cyans 3-4 hours south of SF last season and I know someone else found them near Santa Barbara. They are getting closer to you!
good luck in your searches!
