still awesome its an automatic even though its not so awesome that GM probably used the auto tranny from the cobalt -- GM is stingy and horrible and dumb

there was an article published from c and d last year that basically said that cars have not evolved much since the seventies, yes theres tc and different small advancements like valve timing but the basic design of the car has not changed...only 2 cars have actually made advancements to chasis, dynamics, structure, etc -- corvette and ferrari
get a clue people, the corvette is an amazing value for its money
did you bigots know that a vette cruising at 70mph on the freeway will get about 30 mpg? the car is actually quite efficient and its power to weight ratio is quit superb

I dont think it really matters whether its an auto or a stick. Its going to show off and impress people or turn them off and disgust them either way. Its not like he actually has a race to win or gas mileage to care about.

I personally would have went with a hard-top and a manual transmission, but a vette is a vette and #1 will turn heads wherever he goes.
