Nature (Up Close), New Pics! (Scroll Down)
    #14819628 - 07/24/11 10:39 PM (1 year, 9 months ago)

Some recent pics from the last two weeks. been hiking and exploring the Western North Carolina section of the Appalachians. really beautiful. lots of life and diversity (the woods feel healthy). enjoy.

yeah, this is actually a "point and shoot" camera i'm using. an old Fuji f30 that takes nice low light images. the macro doesn't work nearly as well as i'd like it to.

i'm going to try and get a good macro setup for my canon 20d so i can take higher quality shots.

nice, you're in WNC as well. lots of land to explore :psychsplit:

There sure is.  I might try to borrow my friend's "shitty" camera (canon t2i) and take some pics.  there are a few places I would really like to capture with HQ

I like the last one in particular  Yeah, nature makes for some great patterns & composition; you only have to see and capture them.

no, definitely not active. perhaps actively deadly

i don't do much "wild" hunting for actives (although a few have crossed my path over the years).

Those are fantastic pictures. My camera is just a point and shoot Panasonic Lumix, but it has a Leica lens and takes great shots as well.
