I dunno. I mean I'm not one of the people who won't eat those products. But I admit I'd much rather eat the good cut of meat than the scraps and tendons and eyeballs and intestines ground up into a paste ('mechanically separated chicken'). But I guess it's better that they make use of this meat than waste it (of course it is)
These days I'm leaning towards being a vegetarian anyway.
One ground up animal product I love is italian sausage, that shit is so delicious. Not big on all sausage though. Hot dogs meh I'll eat one a couple times a year drowned in condiments because I am hungry enough.
It's mostly about texture and quality of meat for me. Growing up in a mostly middle class and west coast diet I have never had to eat the stuff that other people had to to survive. So I have never had to eat organs and stuff that most people in my situation consider waste/byproduct/funky meat.
Also not a fan of liver. It has a weird taste, then again it was many moons ago since I had it. Tastes change after all.
Of course I do prefer a nice hot dog made out of quality meat over some oscer meyer dogs that is just compacted bologna. Taylor's Sausage FTW.
