Brugmansia? It's kind of hard for me to tell. Plus my plant ID'ing skills are not the best in the world.

Thanks man! I want to use my collection as much as I can for the contest, no stock pictures to track into google images or whatnot. Only problem is, most of my stuff is small and baby, or just easy to ID :lmafo:

I took a clone from one of the ones behind my school last year. It's not flowered this year as I don't think the Sun is intense enough for it in the spot it's in now, but hopefully next year will be different. It needs some fertilizer right about now.

Anyways, here's another:

Very, very close!!! You got the genus down pat. The plant has its most southern distribtuion at the southern end of Whitfield County.

If you want to go ahead and put another up, that's cool.

Nope. The leaf venation of Juglandaceae is pinnate, not palmate.

Dr. Greenthumb is almost on the money.

Nice, those are cool!

Needing to mark this thread anyways, very interesting!

I challenge you to challenge yourself more! When you feel complacent and ready to hang it up, challenge yourself to get over it! If you fail, don't look at it as you didn't succeed, look at it as you would a rock face you're trying to climb. Stand back, wayyyy back, and look at it and plot another path. If you can't find one, shuffle down the way a little, a little change of scenery or a view from a different angle may give you the insight you need.

Anything I state is relayed information from a friend of a friend and should be viewed as completely fictitious. I do not partake in any illegal or grey-area-of-the-law activities, but do have lots of friends who may or may not.    -fngbronco
