Oh, not no finals, just partying down those nights with the folks that had em!
Sounds good! If I make all A's (waiting for the last one, so far 3 A's), I'm breaking out my Gymnopilus tea I've had in the freezer for3 months.

Definitely a Vaccinium!!! But it's not angustfolium. Think small fruits.
And it's definitely distributed in the Eastern US.
EDIT: Epic ninja edit!!! Aye, V. stamineum!!! Batter up! And you're right. We use a lot of exclamation points.

vaccinium stamineum, i think that's the correct spelling.
got it just before me! fair enough though, i was watching community. i like how the ovary in the picture gave it away as a vaccinium, good clue.

Yeah I had to remember where I had seen it, and I remembered when I was in the south one, visiting the Okeefenokee (sp?) and the Everglades, a distant relative was showing me her garden of various southern and east coast Vaccinium.
I am just more used to the angustifolium when up in PA where certain parts of the forest are carpeted in them...
My plant....

My hint.... you said batter up didn't you?

Nah, Thats a noxious invasive. This genus pertains to North American natives and then around the ring of fire and that whole pacific ocean thing.
I love the family because the drastic range from foods, medicines, to toxins
we protect them in the forest as they keep us and the humans of our forest fed and healthy

Just to help you narrow it down... Im just going to give you a hint, this genus.. well she is an ANGEL!ica... put that together Angelica
An acquaintance of mine is looking to start cultivating this native to a slender Asian island as many of their immigrants live in the California central valley, Bay area, and Socal!
Those hints are many, but this family is hard to weed through hahaha! OH and another hint, maybe highlight this whole post?

Don't even worry, this was a kinda douche move to throw at you hahaha, I forgot how much of a mission weeding through this family can be!
I forage on various species and it took me like 3-4 years before even feeling comfortable with this family as there are so many sketchy look-alikes!
Note- I do not forage for this species! Not a Native here

This one is endemic to a small area in Japan where it has spread in cultivation. But very close
Also the Wiki photo for this species sucks. Yeah, I am actually sorry at this point, I was going to give you one you probably would have enjoyed more but chose this for some odd reason...
