hey! I'm new here in the forum. its quite cool to see there are so many people eating mushrooms and that there are so many posting all these useful info and advice to the new ones. I'll have to come clean on that, I've never done anything else other than marijuana and I've been strongly advised by all my friends that LSD/Mushrooms were the shit to do if i was so interested in psychedelics. But it seems that this common misconception about LSD and shrooms are a bit the same, but as ive seen throught all this thread its not quite like that.
The thing is, being the inexperienced person i am when it comes to this matter, what should i try first, mushrooms or LSD? how does it differ?
I'm kinda tempted to try mushrooms, just by knowing they grow out in the nature.

This is completely based on my opinion.
Mushrooms are a part of nature. Depending on how you feel about nature, whether it is alive or not I will either sound crazy or smart. To me natural drugs are similar to pheromones in a way. They are a form of communication with nature, not in words but in feeling. It is an interaction with everything around you.
LSD on the other hand is artificial and feels like an artificial chemical messing up my brain.
Personally I wouldn't touch LSD if I had a lifetime supply of shrooms. To be mushrooms are like going into the amazon and LSD is like seeing a documentary on the amazon.

LSD is fun...so are mushrooms.... LSD is more controlled, you can kind of know how it's going to go down, and there is little chance you will have a bad trip with less than 3 hits. Mushrooms are different, they are chaotic and things can change in a second. I personally like mushrooms more because when I use psychedelics I do it for the spiritual factors associated with it and you just don't get that on LSD. LSD is more of a "party" drug, if you will. The choice is yours. Easy does it.

Just dont do it half arsed. Make the dive, do it in a cool place.
Another thing is, have some kind of happy place set up where you can go if you need to. Make a circle under a bush or out under the stars, somewhere that you can retreat to if things get too much.
Have a drum close at hand or a big sketch pad for interaction.. Just ideas, though you will probally be occupied enough by the mere experience alone.

I've been so busy trying to search for myself but I haven't thought of asking here! Does anyone by any chance know where good places to look in MN for shrooms? I know of a few places in Wisconsin but little to no luck for Minneasota.

Go for a walk in woods come home and do finger painting while listening to classical or jazz and then look at some salvador dali paintings...a good beer during all this is good too
