So I have this cat who is obsessed with me... she follows me everywhere...

All that means is your cat was taken away from her mother before she was weened more than likely, it's a very common trait. Though female cats do act somewhat "frisky" when their in heat but in know way does that mean they want sexual healing from there human masters, not only is that disgustingly perverted it is considered bestiality and is against the law.
