This isn't about what to listen to while camping, but rather, what music really makes you want to go camping?
Every time I listen to Fleet Foxes, Blitzen Trapper, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Mountain Man I really want to go camping. I love it. What music makes you want to go camping? I'm curious and looking for more suggestions.

I'm surprised no ones responded to this yet.
Icelandic post rock (click here to get started) really makes me want to go camping. I saw Parachutes open for Sigur Rós a couple years back at Red Rocks. Not sure if that's why I like it so much.

I saw some post rock at Red Rocks too, I saw Explosions in the Sky open up for Flaming Lips. It was a great show. I love Sigur Rós, and Mum is pretty good too, but I can't say they make me want to go camping though. Maybe Sigur Ros' new album, the first two tracks. Would make me want to run through the wild, naked, on a sunny day.

Oh Iron & Wine is a good one. Our Endless Numbered Days is my winter album. I want to go live in a cabin in the woods in winter and listen to that album.

Artist: A.A. Bondy Album: When the Devil's Loose
It occurred to me while typing this, that the word "Devil's" is possessive.... but the phrase - When the devils loose... implies that the devil has escaped... but what could it mean possesive...
I checked its right
any thoughts on the matter you guys?

I don't know but I'm downloading it now. I'll let you know once I pick up on the vibes of the album.

I just listened to all of Our Endless Numbered Days, so thanks for bringing that back into my life. It's a good album.

For some reason this song is very reminiscent of Camp-fire songs
