It's highly improbable you will know the difference or have any capacity to care.

I want to be cremated, then have my ashes spread over the pacific ocean. My homies on the block may tip 40s as they feel appropriate.

buried is my choice...
sky burial (not specifically eagles, but any animal works), buried among the roots of a tree, or buried with a tree planted above me.
one of those works for me, doesnt matter which.
oh, and i dont want my body preserved in any way.

you're a true humanitarian
actually, my deepest desire
get almost all of me, save for my head and my right hand, made into hors d'oeuvres
fancy ones, terrines, pates, little seared cubes in filo dough with creme fraiche and chives, smoked bits, rillette piped into pate a choux, dolma with spicy me and rice
then dress it up so it looks like I'm whole, and stretch out my right "arm", put a little silver platter in my hand
lay shit out so it looks appetizing, make sure a server changes it so it's never empty
come pay your respects, have a bite

I would choose to be buried, but not in a coffin. My will is going to include instructions to mummy wrap me (with out all of the drying, dissecting and what not, and then throw me into a hole in the ground and plant a tree above me.
I do not want a headstone, nor any sort of plaque reminding the world that I was a person--I just want to be left in the ground so I can return from where I came form.
....Or I would like to be shot into space. Either or.

I used to want to be cremated.. but as I grew up and thought more about it, I prefer being buried. Being able to decompose and become part of the earth sounds good to me. Not to mention, one never knows what all exactly is thrown into those incinerators at once. There was a news story in GA about a place that burned animals and would send them out to families as their loved one's ashes. Heard other stories about them burning 5 people all together and letting the ash mix together.

This was posted on a comment from that article:

This is my first post, just FYI. Anyway, I just graduated with a BS in biochemistry and I believe I can roughly give you the composition of human ashes. Here is the elemental composition of a living human by percent: H-63 O-25.5 C-9.5 N-1.4 Ca-0.31 P-0.22 Cl-0.08 K-0.06 S-0.05 Na-0.03 Mg-0.01 Trace elements include Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, Mo, I, Ni and Se
During the combustion process of cremation, most of the H and O will be released as water vapor and C and O will also be released in the form of CO2. So my best guess without doing any research is that the ash will be high in N and moderate in P and K with a good supply of micronutes and trace nutes. This is just a guess – the heat of the combustion reaction could provide energy to create some crazy organic reactions, which could create variances in the levels of nutrients that would be useable by a plant. Let me exhaust some resources and maybe I can give you a definitive answer. Peace, love and sooooooooul
In essence, it could be A VERY VERY good pot plant, with some HIGH ASS YIELDS cuz it will have tons of N!

I think I'd get cremated just to save on costs of funerals/burial expenses.

Ideally I would like to be burried without a coffin or all the preservatives they pump people full of so I could just be broken down quickly and feed the soils.
There's laws against that though... you have to be burried in a coffin surrounded by a concrete tomb. What a waste.
Throw me in a mass grave and let me rot like i'm supposed to.
I would take cremation over the rediculous burial procedures required today.
