 penis envy pins after two weeks.

We'll my penis envy cakes have been in my fruiting chamber for two weeks, and I finally have pins, they started showing up 2 days ago.
I had some mazatapecs and burmas that were colonizing in jars on my shelf. they actually fully colonized and started pinning before my PEs even thought about it.
Should My PEs be this short? the pins on those others were getting much longer much quicker.
  
This last one is one of my Mazatapecs right before birthing.

I actually just pulled the foil and slid it onto my hand. Didn't actually touch the cake.

The amount of perlite came up a little shorter than I wanted and I just so happen to have some wet verm in a mixing bowl from some cakes I just got done making.
So being the big stoney-face I am, I didn't even think twice and threw it in and mixed it a little.
there's actually very little verm and its only on the top.
Is that bad?

Ok well I can be critical too...your vermiculite is obviously way too coarse.
You only gave us pictures of your cakes and nothing of your fruiting chamber or what your RH or temp is so yeah...you provide us with shit and you'll get shit in return bro.

Here ya go, there are 16 cakes in the chamber. I did not have a drill of my own, so I had to borrow one and it did not come with a 1/4 inch drill bit, but it did have the one below it. so I put a few more holes than one would normally put.
Also, not having a hygrometer I borrowed one from a friends cigar case for a few days while I taped and un-taped holes until my RH stayed around 90.
the temp stays at about 77.

95-100% RH is recommended. Also with the picture provided I can't even see any holes. Not saying they aren't there just I can't see them so I can't give judgment.

Your wet vermi will contam. Get both grades of vermi for cultivation because at some point you will probably use them both. Handling is bad. There are oils and contams all over your hands and body. Human skin contact is a contam waiting to happen. Test it your self by touching LMEA petri dish with a clean finger. Watch and see if that dish don't get trich of somekind.
If your cakes are staying moist enough and getting enough fresh air at 90% humidity then your fine.

He said it was whatever is under 1/4 but I think it was possibly two sizes under. rest assured there are quite a few, but my camera is only a 3.2mp and the lighting from that blue fluorescent bulb sucks.

I read something about the verm contamination when used in a fruiting chamber, so I sprayed it down with some h2o2 before I put it in. I don't know how long that will ward of contams, though.

The sooner you stop defending your actions the sooner you can understand that handling it is just silly. Even if you're sliding it around you are contaminating the foil just by touching it at all and it's not impossible for verm to poke a hole through the foil giving bacteria an access point or spread across the foil from where you've touched it even a little bit.
If you aren't here to take advice then why the fuck are you here? Also, if your camera is 3.2 mp and doesn't even have a flash I'm not sure what to tell you except for that's the worst camera I've ever heard of.

If you have flash there's no need to move into better lighting that's why flash is there. Also 2 people have told you now not to handle the cakes and you just keep telling us it's ok. More people will tell you this, everyone will ALWAYS tell you this.

And are you seriously arguing with me about whether or not my camera has flash? you can see it in the center of the picture reflecting off the fruiting chamber.
I'm really sorry if this is "the worst camera ever" It's the only one I have.

I don't care if you can or cant take advice. Hard lessons are hard but they teach you well. If you want to wait for the hard lesson go right ahead. In the mean time I'm still going to give you advice weather you listen or not, it is your own choice. Other people will read it and maybe they will take the advice, maybe they wont. EDIT: Also about the flash thing, all I'm saying is why pull cakes out and risk contamination to put it in "better lighting" just so you can use your flash anyway.
You're kind of silly ya know? Point being why do you need to pull it out if you have flash? But that's right over your head.
