Mostly_Harmless just linked me to this page (thanks)i didnt know about it here are some cacti that dont belong in the lophophora growers unite thread
My new cacti I got today (execpt the Trichocereus brigesii monstrose and the one below it I think it's a Myrtillocactus but it wasn't labeled so i'm unsure)

The left is a small Ariocarpus fissuratus: The right is a Ariocarpus retusus

A much older fissuratus

A 4 ribbed Astrophytum myriostigma

These last two aren't new this is a Trichocereus Peruvianus

and lastly heres a Trichocereus Pachanoi

My first columnar to ever flower! It's an old Cereus peruvianus (monstrose) that I got as a cutting several years ago. Unfortunately, I had to leave before full bloom and came back when both flowers were already spent.

My largest Astrophytum asterias flowered today the first pic is it halfway open, the 2nd and 3rd are the flower fully open
, the 4th is trichocereus macrogonus seedlings (i raised the light up i saw they were getting burnt) and the last is my best looking pereskiopsis out of 5 that i got last week still waiting for them to recover

Update 9/9/11: my obregonia denegrii flowered three times today i cross pollinated them (theres two plants in same pot)and saved some pollen like i did with the asterias with a q-tip and by plucking a few stamen and putting them in a slant tube (test tube)

Update 9/10 The flowers from yesterday opened again! I didn't know this happened except with loph's do most cacti do this?

So one of my peruvianus has three pups coming out of the top, at first it looked cool but now they're growing together, should i cut off 2 of them?

I want to leave them but i don't want them to get too deformed

I think so! My Mammillaria did the same thing, the flower was opening each day for almost a week (closing each day at sunset). Then weather got really nasty and it stayed closed when it got no direct sunshine, a few days later the sun came back and it reopened.

And that Peruvianus looks really nice with those three pups, i would leave them all but thats me, maybe that wouldn't make the most picture perfect cacti for some people but to me it's porn! :whacker:
If they will get deformed however i cant answer.

The third and fifth pic are the same cactus/succulent.  I'm not really sure what all I've got here but I love them all equally.

So over the past two months i've been asking my customers (i'm a landscaper) and random people for cuttings from they're san pedros(i've also got some myrtillocactus geometrizan cuttings). They are all over my city and most people dont know what they are. Here are some pics, i hope most of them root i will build a temporary greenhouse when it gets cold like i do every year. I've gotten about 45 cuttings and cut them up into 70+ some are going to die i know and also some are pretty ugly but they will pup and the new branches will be good looking. The white spots/powder is from sulfur. I've bought quite a bit of soil/perlite and 1/2 ton of gravel but next year they will provide me with a lot of pups/ new cacti. The pots i get free from planting stuff and the dump.

PLEASE DONT pm asking for cuttings, once they root i will be willing to trade some next year but not til growing season.
P.S. i got these legally by asking the owners for them, there's well over 40 plants in a 1 mile radius of me they are pretty popular here
