Let's see 'em. I want to see what you guys have. Mine's really small but here it is:
It's covered for the night, and the larger plants (tomatoes and peppers) are in walls of water to help them from freezing, as it's supposed to drop to 32F tonight. Last night got to 25F and everything stayed frost free. Hope my mustard greens do well!

I've got a similar bed, and purchased a bunch of seedlings: greens, lettuces, box choy, and other low light loving plants...
We're just not sure if its nice enough to put the plant out at night yet, we had frost 2 weeks ago and it's been a weird spring.
We're in Vancouver BC, zone 7.
Should i plant my greens, and cover them with poly, like you have, or wait a bit?
We left the seedlings out the other night, and they looked really floppy and sad in the morning. :S

My area is considered zone 8 - 10 (I have to use a lot of irrigation  ). But there's never much problem with getting enough sunshine, on the contrary, I have a hard time growing some sun sensitive plants! I have two raised beds I built last season, will probably build a couple more. I also have two planting areas on the sides of the yard that I just busted my ass weeding all last week and I will be populating this coming week... had to wait for my ghetto-fix to dry on the sprinkler hose I popped with my shovel, otherwise plants would already be in! :P
Li'l patch o' herbs: thyme, sage, purple sage, chives (t. pach and peru in the back), rosemary not pictured.
Apple mint and oregano (this oregano stuff grows like wildfire!)
Started some Bolivian Rainbow pepper and Sweet Italian Basil from seed
Only started a handful of things from seed (due to time and unpredictability factors).
Here's a tray of various (mostly peppers) and one tomato from the local nursery...
Peppers: super chili, thai hot, chocolate beauty, golden bell, californian wonder, japapeno,
banana carmen, poblano.
Some more t. pach with a couple of grafted buttons. One unknown.
Got strawberries of various varieties going all around the yard, but the birds usually get 'em before we do.
Raised beds, mostly tomatoes. A couple Black Krim (one of my fav's) I started from seed, and several
others from the local nursery. Tomatoes: old german, mr. stripy, green stripy, orange oxheart, super
sweet 100's, sweet baby girl, boxcar willie, aunt ginny's purple, yellow pear.
 
Some flowers I snipped up last week to brighten up the household. When these roses and such start
popping out, it's like my alarm clock signal that I better get movin' on the food crops!

You're fine to start. I had a frost last night. As long as everything is covered at night it will be fine, even my peppers are doing fine, I'm in a variable zone from 6-8. Winters are really cold but summers hit the 100's with ease. RH is generally 20%-50% most of the time.

So I took another picture today, uncovered with the peas and some basil and stuff planted.
All my mustard and lettuce greens are coming up!
Ignore the distortion, it's a handheld shot pano stitched.

Yup!  I always had trouble getting them to climb, so I was like "hmm I should just add more lines for them to climb"

Here are some pic's of my garden, built some boxes that sit above the ground so that when i move I can take my garden with me. First attempt at growing veggies, everything booming but I planted way too close together.
Also found shrooms growing amongst the veggie's after recent rain, lol non active though 
The three boxes next too each other, drilled hole's for drainage and erected some bird netting.
The first box to the left, planted after other boxes.
Contains: Tomatos, Chilli, Cabbage, Coriander.
The Middle Box, Planted first.
Contains: Broccoli, Cauliflower, x2 Lettuce, Spinach, Snow peas.
Right Box.
Contains: Onion, Beetroot, Carrot, Spring Onion.
Also got a box of Basil and a few other herbs growing and x3 San Pedro's.

My garden is slowly growing. In a month I will harvest all of my lettuce and mustard. Any ideas on what to plant then? Should I start things by seed now and ready it for that side o' the garden?

start brassicas in mid summer, the greehouse will extend the growing season
even though they dont mind cold, I've grown some through the winter without
any sort of covering
