Saliva Dilution...

Hey guys, quick question here - I had an oral swab test a couple of days ago. The idiot gives me a cup of water to rinse out, so I just kept a little pool under my tongue and soaked the swab in that. My question is, with a mouth swab test, can it come up dilute, or do they test for any normal bactetia in your mouth that they wouldnt find in water?

I don't know the answer, but I have a funny story about mouth swabs.

A year or two ago I had to go in for a drug test for a job I needed, was ABSOLUTELY going to fail a piss test so I got a friends little brother to pee in a cup for me, then double bagged it and taped it to my gooch. Gross.

Went in expecting to take the piss test first, but they had 20+ pages of paperwork and written tests to fill out before that, so I *sat* there, trying to keep pressure off the bag, mostly holding myself off the chair with my leg muscles. Muscles begin to fail halfway through, bag starts to slowly leak, but I have to sit there and finish these tests with another man's pee dripping down my asscrack.

Not the proudest moment of my life.

Then, FINALLY I'm done, they say its time for the drug screen, and you guessed it- mouth swab. I then go into the bathroom and throw the half full bag away and slink out.

I did get the job though. :grin:
