Well with a fifth of vodka is shouldn't take long. Life is good. Music and posting on the shroomery, a wonderful state of being in being "intoxicated" among other things. I feel good but how fast the time goes.
Drinking in a hostel that doesn't allow drinking and full of sober and drug free people, trying to keep a positive outlook but the overall consciousness is crushing me.

Dude the same exact same thing happened to me, the exact same amount. Sans the puking part. I downed my sixth shot and the second I outed my cig and laid down I blanked out. I woke up in the AM and saw the empty bottle, started wondering what the fuck I did I went to the bathroom and saw a fire extinguisher on the counter I literally facepalmed when I laid eyes on it. I packed a bowl and made my way out the door and to the stairwell to blaze. when I opened the stairwell door the entire staircase all five flights of it and the fixtures, everything, was covered in a thick layer of fire extinguisher dust  Luckily I didnt do anything to stupid while I was blacked out. At least that time.
 This thread makes me feel like I don't have a problem with alcohol.
I buy my liquor by the handle (1750 mL). If I accidentally drank 90% of the bottle, I think I'd be on my way to the morgue. That's some scary shit for real though...
I think you have some issues to resolve within yourself, or try a therapist and the wonderful pharms they will give you. Don't feel like somehting is wrong with you unless it's fucking up your life. Even then I don't recommened the system.

Yeah it's interesting to read things I wrote when drunk that made perfect sense at the time and now I wonder why I wrote it. Anyway it's part of the drunken experience and I accept it completely.
Some guy wrote about recording a night of drunkeness and debauchery and not letting anyone know that he was recording it with a mini digital recording device in his pocket.
The next day, and the writer put it in such eloquent terms, that all his pearls of wisdom and wonderful thoughts were not exactly as he had remembered them to be. But more power to him, it's even worse to record a conversation between you and someone else like my brother did when on an acid trip and understand what was going through your mind at the time the next day.

I do NOT remember going to bed last night. I woke up with a half eaten grilled hot dog next to me and puke in the trashcan. At least it wasn't all over the place, right? I don't even remember grilling.

God, that sounds horrible. Hope you have a good buzz while you recover.
NBA playoffs, bourbon, and lion's lev with good company. I'm having an enjoyable Thursday evening.
Pissing in a pint beer bottle is extreemly difficult.

It's winter here. My most despised time of the year. I loathe the early night, the lack of sunlight (and I'm an indoor person), the freezing temperatures that just so happen to coincide with the annual increase in energy company rates. So I have 2 casks of red wine for the evening. I'll probably only get through one - but if we get another big quake (we're still getting em down here) I'm gonna go out drunk.

Well, I've been in Wellington, New Zealand for six days so far on an internship and I've been drinking heavily for every night of those six days. Drunken booty calls in a foreign country are A+ but I'm probably gonna die if I keep this up for the next ten weeks.
