Confirmed.
But in lieu of typical female "horniness," this is usually marked by extra emotional bonding (or a desire for it), caressing and petting, and grinding.
They tend to go after depth and lose some of their nervousness. I've haven't noted if it puts them in pursuit mode more though. I don't think they're more likely to hunt.
