They are newer. One can only afford so many $60 games. I don't know much about Prototype other than the commercials, but LA Noire has definitely been on my i-want-to-play list
by the way, I love the quote in your sig

Yeah thats true...I only picked up LA Noire cause I got it for $20 from a bargain bin. The quotes from Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. If you're familiar with The Road that was him. Great book. I'd definitely recommend it.
-------------------- Men are born for games. Nothing else. Every child knows that play is nobler than work. He knows too that the worth or merit of a game is not inherent in the game itself but rather in the value of that which is put at hazard. Games of chance require a wager to have meaning at all. Games of sport involve the skill and strength of the opponents and the humiliation of defeat and the pride of victory are in themselves sufficient stake because they inhere in the worth of the principals and define them. But trial of chance or trial of worth all games aspire to the condition of war for here that which is wagered swallows up game, player, all. - The Judge

Fallout 3 was semi-accurate. The walking distance between the Lincoln Memorial and the Capitol Building is wayyy longer IRL.

It's an amazing game, nailed the 50's film noir vibes.

Well yeah, same with New Vegas. Primm is what, like a 5-10 minute walk from New Vegas? IRL its like 20-30 miles or something. Can't really expect it to be totally accurate down to scale and everything really
