Dead Kennedys - Kinky Sex Makes the World Go 'Round

I've always like Dead Kennedys, I like how their songs have meaning and messages unlike a lot of punk and hardcore which is just OI OI OI! not that I don't mind that :rockon:

whats with all the hate on San Tropez? It seems like everyone says meddle would be perfect without san tropez and seamus. well seamus aint too great but come on this is a good song.

Meddle is a perfect album, in my opinion. DSOTM needs some tracks lopped off, in my opinion; not Meddle. :shrug:

and whats with everyone forgetting about Obscured by Clouds? that albums rocks you can see dark side of the moon coming out of it like the style transition. they are almost to that DSOTM sound in that album.

everyone forgets about More too, i mean its not that great but still forgotten. both of em are soundtracks to movies too maybe thats why idk

i hate Great Gig in the Sky... honestly, i don't like On The Run or the last few songs on the album... yes, including Colours. (one decent song in the end, sandwiched between two throw-away tracks, brings the song down, so i'll include it) i honestly think the whole second half is lacking; i only like Us and Them (i mean, equally to Breathe, Time and Money) and Colours (though it's on the shitty end) then the rest is just brought down. it's just such a sprawl, and a short sedating one.

whatever, it's just my opinion... i mean, i REALLY like Time and Money and Breathe, they are CLASSICs among classic, honestly. BUT if the whole album doesn't equally entice me and the tracks don't balance out with the other tracks, then i can't say it's... a classic album. it's odd. i can honestly say (as much as i find Pink Floyd to overrated but only in terms of new music, not old) i would not expect to really dislike any of their albums, cause pretty much, they've never put out a really "Bad" album... except for DSOTM... so i dunno, i just think all their other albums are better... except that lion's whatever album after The Wall, and the album's after that, which again, i think are overrated, and certainly am not a fan off.

PATGOD, Saucerful of Secrets, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, are my favorites from Floyd, and DSOTM is just an odd ball, for me. i dunno. :shrug:

people just consider that they weren't they're "true" albums, because of the fact that they were for films.

as if it gives it less artistic license.

More is a sick album... haven't heard Obscured by Clouds though, honestly.
