Well, two months ago i germinated Lophophora Williamsii and Echinopsis pachanoi (about 35 seeds of each). Lophophora Williamsii planted on 18 February and Echinopsis Pachanoi planted on 23 February.
LW, 25 Feb:
The bigger peyote show up in just 3 days EP, 3 March:

LW, 20 March:

LW, 15 April:

Look at the bigger peyote again EP, 15 April:

These last images are from 2 months cactus (l.w., e.p have 2 months less 5 days). I think they are doing great (i´ve seen other peyotes in other forums no so big with more months) but you can see they are red colored at the base. To much light? What can it be? Pd.: they are growing with natural light. Compare with yours and respond

The red's natural and expected. Definitely not too much light. Looking good BTW.

Ok, thanks! You can see a very low l.w. germination rate but a high rate in san pedros (same soil, the only difference is the l.w. soil is mixed with perlite).
Any other opinion? I will update in a week or two.
BTW: when I can remove the plastic covering the cactus?

Those are all gorgeous. My Williamsii seeds never sprouted... I was devastated since they were difficult to get. I must say I am quite jealous.

Start putting holes in the plastic to acclimate them. I'd say within a week you could remove the plastic completely.
They look good but are looking a bit etiolated.

I think you´re talking about peyotes, so I should give them more light? Even if they are red colored on the base? Thanks.

I was talking about them, and yes, even if they're a bit red. I take it you just keep them near a windowsill? If so, I'd pick up a 25w CFL and put them under it at night.

Yes, they are near a windowsill, but they can receive direct sunlight between 14:00 and 17:00 or 18:00. I´ve put them under a 20W fluoro 3 hours (22:00-1:00) during almost a week as u said but they dont look better to me:

The red ones are being exposed to too much light this is sunburn for sure, easy recovered from as long as it is not too servere
T Peruvianus at 15 weeks

L. Willaimsii at 15 weeks

Looks like you have a bit of an algae issue

Just looks like the base taking on the natural colour of the root and it looking red due to being in bright light, normally an ochra colour
