Need information on an outfit that transmits one's movements to one or more attached dummy bodies

So what I'm thinking of is: an outfit (really more of a contraption, but let's call it an outfit) that one can wear that mechanically transmits the specific movements of different parts of one's body to the corresponding parts of one or more human-sized dummy figures that are attached to the outfit.
The purpose is to give the appearance of several figures moving in unison, for an amusing effect. I know this concept has been built and exists in popular culture to some degree.
What is this called? Does it have a name? Can anyone link to a photo or article about it? Thanks.

Before I clicked that link I was totally picturing some kind of crazy sci-fi robot voodoo.

I always wanted to make one with one dummy and just make t look like we're fighting...
So when I pull an arm back to punch it throws the connected one forward and so forth..

Hot shit, you're right, thanks! I didn't think of it as puppeteering.
In this video he says he's "the only one" who does this! (0:50)
Is that true? I thought this was a slightly larger concept in our culture.
The thing he does at 2:00 is pretty cool too.
