Requiem For a Dream was pretty intense as far as drug movies go. Blow is also fantastic.

that was the documentary they showed being filmed in The Fighter. i saw that shit years ago on HBO. amazing film.

if you want a traditional narrative type film then check out Jesus' Son.

it was shot in my hometown too!

the first time I watched requiem for a dream I was ripped out of my mind. It tripped me the fuck out...
same with eternal sunshine for the spotless mind, and donnie darko...

I like Superfly. That movie is nothing like fear and loathing but it's pretty badass

So far the only ones posted that I havent seen are by frith, BTW guys I should say documentaries are welcome too.
I know two off the top of my head that are cool
Black Tar Heroin: the dark end of the street
and Dope Sick Love are both cool ones
