In theory, how the fuck are they so easy to get?? I would think the DEA or someone would be out to stop these little tea bags from being so easily avalible. This is quote: 'wack dogg' /!/
How much of a chance, in theory, would there be of someone getting into a legal problem/issue/situation when ordering this stuff?
Seriously, this is shocking to me. I'm almost as surprized as I was when I found out opium is not this amazingly difficult plant to grow that only grows in far away lands where there are no hamburgers and it doesn't take a mad scientist degree and extreme labor to extract the stuff

Ok, this is gonna sound strange but I think the tea is 'decocainised' coca tea, in other words they take the drug cocaine out of the tea which makes it legal, thats how it works. Anyone know for sure?

It is not "decocanised," atleast not in the few websites i saw. It is untreated and contains the normal .4%coca alkaloid content that the plant produces.

Alright, cuz alot of people say they dont get any effects and there were decocanised tea bags that were sold in the 80s which were legal. I was thinking maybe these were the samething and thats why its still so easy to get. Thanks.

they don't get much or any effects cause there is very very little alkaloid content in E. Coca, it takes a lot ot get cocaine, if you go on a few of the sites and read about it you'll see. However!!! You will fail a drug test if you drink this tea and take a test within 3 days time or so.

i wonder if there is a simple semi-extraction as to get more alkaloid per leaf content, like 5Xcoca leaf. is the natural alkaloid in the leaf soluble in water?

the DEA tested the "decocainized" teabags and found 4.7 mg cocaine per gram of tea... i have heard that the "sweetleaf" (1/2 % stuff) is preferred for tea & "chaw", & the "bitterleaf" (1.5 %) is preferred for the folks in el laboratorio clandestino... if you do a googlesearch for mate de coca, you will find a few different brand names available from a few vendors... and, yes, it is technically illegal, but i suspect the federales have more ot worry about that somebody getting 100 grams of shredded coca leaf for like US $28 or something... now if somebody could get 10 kilogram lots of whole leaf at a bargain price, i might be interested (ummm, and so might the DEA & customs folks...)

No point in extracting. Its some really crazy amount of leaves per cocaine gram. Like a kilo per gram so fuck it. Atleast if you goal is to get coke.

You can get Seeds from different botanical gardens Like the world famous Kew In england. When you try to order them they Give you the 3rd degree about exactly what type of research you're planning on using them for they ask for the name of your School ect ect. Plus they're Drupes and only viable for a short while, it costs quite alot to get them shipped posthaste. Its all pretty impractical Ive heard it been called "The Holy Grail" of ethnobotany. If youre into that i would get a book Called THC and Tropacocaine By Otto Snow. It details how to synthesise tropacocaine from atropine. He says tropacocaine is the real deal and lasts longer.
