You should start your own business bro. It's all top-notch and supposedly some of your first projects. You do indeed have a skill/talent/whatever.

peddler; Your furniture looks great. Keep working and studying. Listen to Pris, he knows his shit.
Pris; Those double dove tails are beautiful. What kind of jig did you use? I've been wanting to give them a shot, but have been reluctant to drop the money for a nice jig like http://www.incrementaltools.com/INCRA_LS_Super_System_17_Range_p/ls17wfncsys.htm

those are hand cut, I do own a couple of leigh 24" jigs, and a few of their isolock templates, bought it about 10 years ago and only used them a short time so it's been collecting dust every since... prior to that it's been used only for drawers and stuff, I build a lot of jigs to make up for what everything else cant do
that incra fence system is bad ass, I picked up an incra miter gauge, made sure it was trued and it was one of the best tools I'd ever purchased
I'd be posting a few projects because I have a hundred I need to do but I have a fault on the power going to the barn so I'm kinda screwed, I'm too lazy to dig up the 500' of trench that my power and water currently reside in since I borked the backhoe bucket I've been too lazy to fix

I too have the problem of starting projects and taking forever to finish them. I currently working on some walnut and red oak table sets to take to Chicago to sell. It's my first attempt to sell my furniture to a company. Ever sell yours?
Fix your backhoe and get back at it!

That's what i'd like to know. Very interesting. Keep up the good work! I've been interested in getting started with some woodwork myself. I figured it'd be something that wouldn't be too hard to teach yourself...

I'm finishing up a display table for my friend at Hoosier Mushroom Co. He's been real good to me. When I finish it up I'll post it here and you can give me some notes on it

the only one im not utterly impressed by is the oak table, it looks great structure and quality wise i just wouldve cut the convergence of the veins off too a side personally, some like it centered, i personally like it a little off to draw attention towards the "main showpiece"' if that makes sense, otherwise amazing job....

Get yourself some equipment to do spray finishes and you'll be stepping up your game big time. Killer work.

They're all very beautiful. The checkered dresser reminds me when I lived in Italy growing up, due to it's sleek tall, simple yet sophisticated look. it's just gorgeous! I'd buy one from you!!

Longshanx said: Definitely some awesome work man. I would love to be able to make a coffee table like that one you made for your bro. Ikea ain't got shit on your furniture, that is for sure.
How much did it cost you to make that coffee table? and did you just use tools you had layin around the house or what?
Again, it all looks great... We need a coffee table TEK
It was about $35-40 for the wood. A couple extra dollars for the screws and glue... But I already had them. But I guess I still had to pay for them.
Mostly I already had the tools... Circular saw, hand saw, jig saw, drill, bits, etc. I did buy a router eventally but didn't use it on the coffee table. I did have access to my father-in-law's table saw which was a life saver, but wouldn' have been absolutely necessary.
I appreciate the compliments. I'll see about making a coffee table tek with the secret drawer

My grandfather was a carpenter for his whole, and the few things he made for me or my father were not even comparable to the images you posted. Very impressive, as others have said, maybe start up a side business and see where you can go with that... You obviously have skill.
