good advice everyone, i'm back on track after a slip up last week. it's only been 7 days and my entire being already feels so much better than 2-3 days after i lost the energy.
for me the biggest key is to STOP LOOKING AT DIRTY PICTURES/VIDEOS!  It seriously taints the energy...if you feed that kind of desire even slightly, you ruin the original intention even if you don't wack off. That stuff is parasitic, full of negative vibes, and it will block any attempt to do this right.
if you keep your mind empty the energy circulates naturally...over time the raw energy refines and sublimates into a natural state of BLISS. the people who don't believe the benefits of this simply haven't done it correctly...it's like a science, you gotta keep experimenting till' you get it right.

Word! I am doing a similar experiment and find the same thing. Its so easy to manifest the energy in a negative way. BUT THATS NOT WRONG! Its just negative. Lol another lesson I'm learning, there is no right or wrong anymore. That linear concept doesn't work. I guess the philosophy behind this is that the energy we create just raises by itself? Is that why we feel extra vitality? AND I LOVE that people are starting to feel the effects of chi. It means that a big wave is going out, that we are beginning more and more to evolve into ourselves. So much to say. Love you all, and I hope that other people start feeling the benefits that I am feeling too, may this practice and all practices alleviate the suffering from negative energy that we experience.

Good vibes we got going here.
I ate a mixture of 0.75 g dried semilanceata and 1 g dried cubensis.
The experience put me right back in that positive "shroom mod" and wanking now seem rather pointless. It's been one and a half year since this feel and it definitely help.
Occupying once mind with listening to and making art seem to be a spending of this energy

If you have "failed" then have you been watching porn?

Same situation here. I'm having a lot of trouble clearing the old karma created by those videos. I used to watch that stuff all the time and now that i'm trying to stop the old images sometimes flood into my mind, creating an urge that's hard to resist.
crazy how something can be so addictive that it comes back even after you've sworn it out of your life

Since I use this opiates I went from a two to three a dayer to zero without a care. Kind of sick. But I get lots of sex dreams (everynight multiple) and last night had my first nocturnal emission!!!!!!

Have only read the first post in this thread.
I haven't had sex for a good three to four months now and I don't masturbate - Never have.
I can't say I feel anything different from my usual self. Energy and 'psychic' levels have stayed the same as they always do. I don't feel as if I'm missing an activity out of my life either. In fact I don't even notice it.
I have a current partner, but his life situation grants him 'AWOL' in mind and body at the moment. I don't have the desire to 'get off' over him and I don't fantasize about him or anything sexual.
A couple of times I have had 'wet dreams' so to speak, but that is all.
Sex has never been a big part of my fabrication and I've had two long relationships since I was late teens. Must just have a reeeeeeally low libido.

Hello, all.
Over the past several months I've been silently following this thread, by now having read every single post since the first by c0sm0nautt, simply because the topic interests me so much. I stumbled upon the Shroomery through the magical powers of google, after spending hours searching some random phrases along the lines of "does masturbation drain your energy" or "stop masturbating more energy" or something like that. Long time follower first time poster
Anywho. Over the past two years I've been practicing more and more attempting to break the hold of porn and constant sex craving in my life. By practicing, I mean lasting for longer and longer amounts of time without yankin' the old meat thermometer and seeing how many days I can last. I'm a person with an extremely powerful libido, and I couldn't help but feel that sexual release (mostly masturbation, cause I'll admit I ain't the kinda guy that get a lotta ASSS  ) had been potentially draining me of my full potential as a human being who deep down doesn't want mindless sex, but just wants to spend time helping others and becoming stronger.
I won't give you too much of a boring epic speech, this is just my first post in the Shroomery so I thought it oughta have a 'lil substance to it.. 
Long story short, I'm fed up. Monday morning I took a serious vow to try to not only participate in c0sm0nautt's contest, though he doesn't seem to post here anymore, but to last for an entire year and beyond, to see if there are any significant changes in my life as a result from abstaining from losing semen all the time. Through practice I've managed to completely forgo porn and last a week or two at a time without spilling my precious seed.  but I'm fed up with randomly giving in or giving up, usually around the two week mark, and just feeling downright unsatisfied with myself after it happens. Sorry if this is a lot of intimate details but uh <.< this experiment is in the name of SCIENCE. And good will towards men. Details are essential.

I recommend all of you check out Mantak Chia's books The Multi-Orgasmic Man and Cultivating Male Sexual Energy.
They provide taoist techniques for withholding sexual energy, and reabsorbing it into the body to be used for more overall health and vitality, rather than letting it build up and eventually end up with you getting all hot and bothered all the time, and prevents blueballs.
I've been using his techniques for a few months now, and while I have ejaculated a few times (because he doesn't promote ceasing sexual activity, just learning to do it without ejaculating and losing that precious nectar), there's a drastic reduction, and the need for sex is almost completely under my conscious control at this point, it's really quite incredible.
I think it would benefit anyone willing and open to trying. Seriously folks, check it out!

Uhhhhhhhhhh we need a conclusion to this study. Even if it wasn't exactly done right, you lead the participants on, you should have set it up differently, made it so the participants had no idea what you were actually researching.

in retrospect it's pretty impractical, a bit unnatural, and i was only doing it because various spiritual "gurus" made it seem like some fast-track to enlightenment.
i do think there is value in having a level of self-control over one's urges, (directing the energy into other pursuits when necessary) but to stop wanking *entirely* is totally unnatural.
while i DO think guys lose creative energy from jerking off, it's nothing to get obsessive about. i'm at the point where i'm just gonna do it once a week if possible...that seems like a nice balance between the extremes of "masturbating everyday" and "never masturbating."

im goin on over a month now, I think. Its hard to compare to when Im doing it regularly because the state of being becomes your norm and then your just comparing now to a memory. Anyone got any more techniques for tapping into it?
