Well finally I have found 2 active cyans, I found them yesterday but have been to busy to post. You can see the two Cyans in the first pic. The one has a branch over it, and the other is under the 4 other Pan's? Does anyone have any idea what the others are. I found these in the 407, in a field me and Ghostfl share. So buddy if your reading this you know now that in just weeks it should be in full blast. I went here about 2 week earlier and there wasn't any fungi growth. Now it has all types of different Pan's. Some to me look like Cinctilus, but I really have no idea.
I also have a few others from last year I never had ID properly. I just took pics and left them.
I recently have been bummed with no fungi growth, and now I feel like This funk is going away. I appreciate all fungi poisons ,edibles ,and you all know, lol. It is just so beautiful. Now I have something to look forward to on those long hikes.

I can't wait to find some active shrooms. I've only been hunting since late summer, I found plenty of non-actives. I have been doing plenty of reading and found some really nice fields. I cant wait until the rain season starts. Good luck to all.
Peace.

I don't think it has to rain to find pans, look at the turds . They are all dry, the ground was dry. All they need is a good foggy night. I go out early when the grass is still wet. I also found these about 15 foot from a small creek.
I too can't wait for the huge Cubes. Or even a nice flush of Cyan's.

Well hello everyone. Im new to the forum but I have been using shroomery for informational purposes for a while now. I think its great that I can chime in with others in Florida and have help thats relative to my somewhat area. Compared to previous years it seems this tread has died off a little. Maybe I can help with that. So hello everyone!
Just to let everyone know where I am at in my quest for those little elusive magic beauties. I currently have 10 PF jars knocked up on day 5 with no signs of mycelium growth or contaminants. I plan to do a few different things with these jars if everything goes well. We will see. I also have been taking daily rides on my bike in search of good fields. I have found plenty but none that are secluded enough for me to feel comfortable. I only have one right now thats close enough to my house to walk to and its so big the cows are few and far between. I have been trying to use google earth as well but I am finding it very to tell where cows are because all the cow fields around here arent fields. There just fenced off wooded areas. Any advice on things the experts look for?
Well thats about it. Hope all is doing well and thanks for your time!

I don't know about ya'll but here in the 407, it looks like fungi weather. Nice and over casted and foggy, raining, and chilly. I'm ready, just I now have to wait till Thursday before I get a chance to go hiking.
Good luck to all

Went the the field a little bit ago thats walking distance and this is what I found. The stems bruise blue and they look like what I should be looking for. I am only concerned because I didnt think cubes should grow this time of year. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am currently making a spore print.

Thanks cubeeater on the input! I am super surprised that I found some. The weather doesn't seem right from what I have read. Its been getting to a low of 50. We got a good rain 4 or 5 days ago I am guessing this is reason behind their growth. So what would you recommend a first timer dosage to be wet? I was thinking about 5 grams just to get the feel of it. Would this be enough to experience something?

5 Grams wet is only about half a gram dry usually... I would go with AT LEAST 10 grams wet for a first dose.
