visa gift cards
    #13686298 - 12/26/10 11:30 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

the visa company is brilliant wit hthese things. I absolutely hate these things. Can I use these at an ATM to take the money out? Or go to the bank and withdrawl. If I were to actually use it like money, there would be absolutely no way I could possible spend every last sent, and I would rather not leave any for visa.

good luck not leaving any to Visa. Fees, fees, hidden fees. Use that sucker in total as fast as you can if you want the highest return.

I think if you're using it for sketchy purchases it's definitely worth the hidden fees. Although it is some bullshit.

If you want to use every penny:
example = cost of item is ten bucks
You have 8.97 on gift card .... swipe card then use 1.03 cash

How can you not use it in it's entirety?

Even if you have $0.13 left, the next time you buy something, pay 13 cents with the card and pick up the rest.

It doesn't need to be an exact amount...

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

can you do that online tho? say for instance you want to buy something for 100$ and have a 50$ card and 25$ or something,. and use debit card for the rest.

I guess I could relieve most pain by just going to the bank and withdrawing it all or transferring to my checking accnt. is that possible?

No. If you wanted to convert it to cash you'd have to sell it online through giftcardrescue.com or something.
