Lions mane slant question

Hi,
I've been reading these forums for great info for a while now but never posted.
I was hoping someone could help me out with a question i have. I obtained a lions mane strain on agar plate lately and made some more plates/slants from the plate.
I made the slants in the usual way, agar ME mix with a sliver of wood in it.
All seems good no contams. Left the slant in the incubator for a week the noticed the lionsmane seems to be growing more than just myc in the slant. Ive never grown lions mane before but it looks like its fruiting in the test tube. I Am bit concerned that now moving the slant to the fridge the fruit will die in the slant and could cause possible contam issues.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with lions mane slants and could offer advice. I have included photos. Should i redo some slants with less air and absolutley no light available to the slants?? i keep me incubator failry dark but iits not completly dark.
thanks

Lion's mane is notorious for pinning on agar and fruiting early. It will start to fruit on grain before the grains are even finished colonizing. My advice is to redo the slants. Next time try to get a better angle when you set your slants to maximize surface area, and don't incubate them. Give them 3-5 days at normal room temps, then they can go in the fridge for long term storage.

They're fine. Later, when you use the slant to inoculate a petri dish, you can grab the agar or a part of the fruit that's growing. RR

RR is right. Just dont let slant over incubate and completly fruit in vitro otherwise it is possible to bruise fruiting mycellium and strike up contam when making transfers.
