I debate this in my head whether people who off themselves are pussies or have balls, especially people who jump or lay on train tracks.  Like, they're pussies for choosing a permanent end to a temporary problem.  But....jumping to your death gets props from me. or laying on a track woah

Killing yourself takes balls because you are taking a huge leap into the unknown.

It is much easier to surrender to the repetition each of us have come to know as our lives. We are creatures of habit after all.

It takes a split second to pull the trigger.
It takes a life time to live a life.

Suicide is stupid. Oh I came close twice in my life(once I had a gun to my head). Things looked so fucking bad, why go on? Well shit, there are lots of reasons. Glad I stuck around cause even though my life is not perfect it is pretty damn fun at times. And yes, the world is a beautiful place. Sometimes you just have to go find the right places.

yea, I don't see death as the unknown but I'm an atheist and don't think there is another life for us when we die.  Would love to be wrong of course.

anyway, i do feel bad for kids who commit suicide do to bullying because most of the time the bullying has nothing to do with the person being bullied. it's just some kids trying to look cool, cope with their own insecurities or just being stupid kids. it's sad that someone could feel their best option is to end their life.

i doubt that kids who kill themselves because of bullying truly want to die rather than enjoy life.

Continuing to live is not taking a huge leap. One can make a fairly accurate guess as to their immediate future.

I've never been suicidal, so I can't argue the logic for someone who is, but I'm sure the question of "what happens after this?" has weighed heavily on at least SOME of their minds.

I don't think I've ever been "suicidal" I don't even know wtf that means.  If you're suicidal for weeks... wtf are you waiting for?

I think people are lying if they say they've never thought about killing themselves though.  I think about suicide all the time, I'm not depressed I just think it's funny., it all stemmed from this http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=manly_suicide (already had seen it salomen, maddox had some real jewels now his shit is getting weak)

when busses pass I giggle at the thought of diving underneath the wheels, not because I'm suicidal, but more because I am just generally fucked in the head.

they wanted to die and they accomplished that wish.

i just simply do not feel bad for those who kill themselves. i do not disaprove of it either. it's a personal choice that everybody has the right to make. but thats just my oppion:rolleyes:

sucks if they were screwed into the position, but it's on their own head if they kills themselves.

Roger that, I think of random ways of dying all the time. Sure I had 2 days in my life where I came close to *lights out* but I think it is common for people to think, what if I just jack the wheel to the right when driving on a canyon road.
That is normal right? I mean I would never do it but the thought...  normal

Dammit I am normal.

My most recent one I legit cracked up in front of a group of people, there was a downed power line and I just thought "How fucking funny would it be if I walked up in front of them, smiled looking them in the eyes, then bit the wire and got fried"

:rofl2:

You don't even think... damn that is fucked when someone is getting picked on all their life and then they end it because they are tired of it?
Some people are just fragile.

Hell I have a friend that I was sure he was going to kill or gun down people. He just has 0 social skills, nothing anyone can do can change that.

I don't know.

Not sure if I want to split a six pack with you.

I agree with this to an extent. When you're a child it is much harder to grasp this, and having control of ones emotions is even more difficult.
One could argue if it's even really possible to have control of ones emotions in todays society. Buddhist monks basically isolate themselves from all the noise in order to truly gain control.
As social creatures it is very, VERY hard to not be affected by your peers.

As a HSP/Empath it was even harder learning to cope with being so vulnerable to others emotions as a child.

they only one judging you is yourself. most people are just concerned about their own thangs. and those who're concerned about your thangs, so what? YOU are the only person you have to deal with 24/7, the negative people will disappear from your life if you draw your focus away from them

there's a song about that actually

I'm not at all a violent person. There were 2 times when people tried to bully me... the first time in 6th grade a kid put a kick me sign on my back and the next day he tried to trip me, among other things. After that I threw him flat on his face and got in a few punches and that was the end of that

Then on the bus in 9th grade a kid tried to pull the same obnoxious shit...I did the same thing and never had bully problems again.

Dealing with bullies isn't hard, you just have to speak their language IME
