I've been trying to make digital images that reflect my best visuals from my favourite trips.
I've tried to do my best to recreate things that I've seen and make edit them into these real life photos.
I took most of these photos while hiking.
Just wanted to share them with all here at the shroomery.
Let me know what you all think, plenty more yet to come!

looks great
the 'out off focus' seems to give the picture the effect of moving, or at least lets me see it as if it was moving...

i love the effect and how it looks but you could have picked a more epic tree to call the tree of life! thats the stump of life.

I always seem to get a very similar visual to the red/blue/green/yellow out of focus shadows in this picture. I think I almost got it right in this pic, you slightly get a warping/morphing effect.
Might be similar to what some other people see as well.

Haha I gotta agree, would have been nice to have a nice twisted giant old looking tree against a nice background. But I took this photo myself and I just like it for some reason.
I kind of liked the idea that the tree of life would be subtle and hidden away, deep in a quiet spot of the psychedelic forest.

Maybe "The psychedelic forest" is a better title? I kind of like the sound of that
open to suggestions

nono, i was just joking. The photo is amazing. i really dig it, it makes everything look like its 3d and holographic. That sort of photo translates really well to this type of effect because there is alot of intricate lines from all the twigs and branches so it totally stands out. and also how the grass is green on the outside and in the centre of the tree theres a little bit of green also.
I'd call it "The garden of Eden" or "Utopia".

Interesting effects, very reminiscent of things I've seen, now if you could just reproduce the weirdness of mind that I feel at the times when I'm seeing that stuff!!

I made the center point of this picture the black tree amongst all the green life. I sometimes focus on something specific like this which seems ordinary while everything else around it seems to morph and melt.

awesome pics. I particularly like the second one. Looks like a water-color portrait with some really cool vibrant colors are washed out effect

So I just so happen to have some green/magenta 3D glasses laying around from my 3D copy of the move Coraline, and when I look at the second picture with them on, It all turns 3D and is trippy as hell dude. thumbs up to you!

thats freaky how much that first pic looks like my visuals. ive always noticed like a 3d glasses look to everything.
