"Blue Magic Bath Salt"
A friend just acquired this from a headshop. It's a white powder, but doesn't smell like mephedrone. Any ideas? Is there a chance it could be MDPV?

Mephedrone has a distinctive smell, to my knowledge. I'm thinking he got something else.

I've read up on it, I wanted to hear any personal experiences here. From what I gather it's intensely negative after the first mild stimulation.
Compulsive re-dosing seems to be the norm.

Being the adventurous guinea pig that I am, I tried 10mg insufflated. Nothing much but a little burn and a slight alert.
30 minutes later, I just insufflated 20mg. It's still a minimal effect, but a little more noticeable. I've ruled out MDPV, now I get to figure out which substituted methcathinone it is. Could be mephedrone without the smell.

I was paranoid at the 20mg in case it was MDPV.
I've done an embarrassingly large amount of mephedrone. If I did a big line, I would know instantly. I'm just hesitant to push it to that in order to find out. Naphyrone, flephedrone, who knows? If anyone is interested, there's a big list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Substituted_cathinone
The next line I think I'll do 40mg.

i'd guess that they'd dump a random ammount into water and drink it.

A friend of my younger cousin (who was in high school at the time) ate "just a couple" of Oxy 80s in his room. His mom found him pasty and dead the next morning. The mom, in classy fashion, is now a meth head.

They were having a conversation about spice and this came up:

Yea I actually saw that site too.
My strategy, in typical bored-geek fashion, has been to plunder bluelight and other drug forums to see discussions about bath salts in general. There are so many ridiculous brands and marketing attempts there is no standardization whatsoever.
