Looks like its probably not a pine mushroom
from what I can see online.
Any ideas what it may be and if its edible?

It's an Agaricus. Agaricus is not a good genus to be eating from if you're just beginning to collect and ID mushrooms. Some are edible, some are not. The ones that stain yellow when you cut into the base and smell like phenol, will make most people sick if they eat it.

As LuckOfTheFryish said, it's an Agaricus. The reddish/brownish bruising and good smell mean that it's edible, if it hasn't started rotting and you beat the maggots to it. Cut it in half to make sure you don't see worm tunnels through it - the maggots love Agaricus.

Happy mushrooming!

Ok, so base stains brown, not yellow, smells slighty stronger
but same as the mushroom itself.
Spore print is dark brown.

Agreed. But Agaricus seems to be quite newbie friendly. If you can ID and agaricus as an agaricus, the worst you can get is flushes and the poops. The smell factor can be good to ID it as edible/inedible=D

In ancient times, when demons roamed with man, They hunted, loved and lost, hand in hand, As time went on, the difference between them faded. You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.

The ones that you don't want to eat clearly don't smell like you would want to eat them (like a chem lab accident). I really don't see much to be mistaken there.

Ha, I tend to be overcautious with this genus, even though two of my favorite edibles, A. arvensis and A. campestis are in it.
