 Nasty shroom after taste?

Every time a chow down on my shroomies I get a lasting after taste. So far have tried fresh, powdered with OJ, and tonight "Blue Juice" Tequila (Dont recommend). Every time, I get this after taste that comes on every time I eat something else. And my teeth feel funny. Does this happen to anyone else? Any way around it? And yes...right now I am trippin.

Yeah, it's fucking disgusting and I take them regularly to abort migraines. Buy yourself a Cap M Quik kit and make caps. It makes it easy to swallow, store and carry and there's nothing of that disgusting after taste.

I don't know if I notice any difference. You can always untwist the cap a little just before you swallow. Your stomach juices and acid will dissolve those bitches fast though.

Caps are the way to go. I also like to chew mine up with smoked almonds. It masks the flavor very well.

the taste is all part of the experience, but if you really cant handle it, eating your shrooms with chocolate (your choice) is the best way to mask the taste IMO.

The taste never bothered me. I'll chew up dried mushies real good and swallow them, chase with a bit of water to get the little bits down. My wife says her mouth feels foamy, I think is how she describes it after eating them.
I do plan on eating them in caps in the future. If I remember right from reading here, they take about 30-45 minutes before your stomach breaks the caps apart.It also depends if you use veggie capsules or gelatin capsules. Then since it is powder I would guess another 15 to start feeling it on an empty stomach.

I've puked from mushies once... so now I drink ginger beforehand to that takes care of that... I just really don't like the taste of them even if I love every other type of edible mushroom out there

This is exactly why I only trip 1 or 2 times a year. The first hour is fucking nauseating, sweaty, cold chills, and just a general feeling of being uncomfortable.

The ginger is a good idea. I think Ill also invest in a capper. I rememeber reading somewhere that 00 size is pretty damn close to .5 gram. Do you find that to be true?

I dunno, I had that the first time, but this more recent nut fry I just had a huge body high that rolled in like a wave. I would suggest walking around outdoors while it kicks in. Something about standing up and moving around seemed to keep the nausea at bay in my most recent "case study".

just drink a bunch of water with them and brush your teeth afterwards, they do often get stuck in my teeth. or eat with chocolate. om nom nom
