my skeptical retort would be that what you have shown me is literally be the easiest thing anyone could possibly fake
(in other words, we've all seen hoax photographs of the loch ness moster, and this video would be roughly a billion times easier to fake than that)
but if i were to observe this phenomenon first-hand, i cannot imagine any response other than total astonishment

if those are in fact ice shards floating in space, it is inconceivable that they could change direction without collision
so, as an explanation, the ice shard hypothesis is worthless

So, they appoint an obscure astrophysicist from a country that hasn't even fired a bottle rocket off the ground. Anything as long as it isn't someone from say, Russia, or Europe, or God Forbid, the US...countries that have been at the forefront of space exploration. Frankly, I shit on anything the UN says or does anymore, because they are just pawns of the power brokers who are trying to run the show on earth.

There have been thousands of trace evidence cases where the ground has been tested after UFO landings and found to have strange anomalies.
They have been picked up on multiple independent radars while also being filmed and photographed from independent witnesses on the ground. See the Belgium UFO.
Thats what sets this apart from other phenomenas there is actually a huge resource of evidence that has been collected not just witness testimony as you wrongly assumed. Out of all paranormal phenomena this easily has the most available and reputable evidence with it so you should not be so quick to pigeon hole and dismiss it.

im sure our govs have lots of crazy secret aircrafts, and to do crazy things would require crazy technology and powersources, which would create things like radiation. I imagine UFO's could serve gov's many purposes.
now the interesting thing is what could secret governments fool country's or even the world into doing, if they say, created a believable UFO, a believable alien UFO that is. Hell at this point its not that far of a stretch to think they could create a believable alien if enough money was thrown at it, and enough limitations on the access to it.
appointing a person/country that seriously lacks in the space flight aspect, to lead the first contact with aliens seems to draw some flags, i guess she is qualified being a astrophysicist, im not familiar with that countrys history of wars and such, perhaps that is on the lower end of the scale and makes a friendly first impression

Yeah no doubt the secret space program has some awesome craft. NASA is just the commercial front - the military space craft will likely put their firecrackers to shame.
There are a few good reasons why people think of some of them as being non-human though.
The length of time they have been spotted. Even back in world war 2 there were regular UFO sightings. They called them foo fighters. Humans had just invented the airplane so seems highly unlikely we had secret craft as advanced as some UFOs appear to be back then.
The amount of people who have seen the occupants. Starting with Barney and Betty Hill and now in the thousands there are many people who claim to of met the other worldly occupants of some of these advanced craft.
The breaking of human fly zone rules. UFOs don't seem to care about our commercial or military no fly zones. They have found to be breaking them, sometimes very dangerously many many times. The reports of such incidents are probably into the hundreds. It doesn't really make much sense that a military craft would do such a thing when they have places like area 51 etc that are far safer to test or fly advanced craft.

perhaps the reason they break the nofly zone, is one of several reasons a gov would make a ufo?
i agree, the further back you go the harder it is to say a ufo was government, but at the same time the gov is always lots of steps ahead of the population. Back then it would have been a bit easier to fool people. The gov is always ahead of us tho, perhaps even further than we can speculate.
Think in todays standards even, most people think invisibility is still impossible, yet some college student make a jacket that basically made him 50% invisable. These are things that us the simple people manage, during our extremely busy lives with tech that is probly decades behind the gov. Imagine a gov, who gets paid to do that all day long, for decades, with basically limitless resources, the possibility's are endless. infact, we should expect them to have hovering invisable ufo's by now.

Well again now days we have what appear to be credible persons Ex Astronauts and what
have you telling "us" that there is something alien flying around in space and in our
atmosphere. They are indeed giving us an explanation to an extent that is something going on and should be looked into with extream study.
"Normal" people tend to blow this stuff off as crazy talk but why?? Why should this
stuff be looked at in this way?
We all need to be skeptical. But I do not think we need skepticism on this subject
any longer and the facts that the government are withholding from us need to be brought to the table and further study and acknowledgment need to follow.

i think that would be awesome, but i just cant say that i for sure believe they are here and visiting earth regularly.
life is out there somewhere, but i doubt most UFO stories and all that. its possible, but not probable.
