1 & 1/2 days in and I can already feel some changes.

I'm much more alert, more energy, more motivated, and I feel like I'm in a slightly happier mood overall.

I think I'm going to feel like a completely different person once I'm clean for 30 days I don't think I'll have any problem making it to 30 days either. I was having some cravings late last night but I also turned down an offer to get high earlier in the day.

I'm still looking forward to that first toke after the break is over though.

Due to cash issues, we dont smoke during the week. I work an office, thinky type job. It helps to not have a fog over me.

i can't smoke before work, but i always smoke as soon as i get home from work.

Well....

One of my friends just came over and smoked a bowl with me, and I realized that my j-dub pipe has a LOT more resin in it than I tought, probly enough to last me the day.

So today will not be the first day of my break, but my last day getting high before I take my break.

Tonights been pretty rough.

Don't feel comfortable in my own body, anxiety, anger, fights and arguments.

There's nothing I want more than a big bowl of weed right now. :frown:

Don't do it man!

But seriously.  That should pass by the day after tomorrow.
Unless it's mostly psychological.  Then you'll have to de-program yourself.

I took some Xanax and now I feel fine.

And i think I'm mainly withdrawing from jwh right now since I've been smoking lots more of that than weed lately. And I've heard jwh withdrawals can be a lot worse than weed withdrawals.

And about the intense vivid dreams, I haven't had any yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Some people claim it's almost as bad as opiate withdrawals but I think that's an exaggeration.

Hmmm, even if that is hyperbole, there is probably some kernel of truth in that.

We smoked JWH for a few months until we got a bad batch, and kinda decided we wanted to stop. I was getting superhigh also. Cant say i noticed withdrawals.

I agree with the comment that you should just smoke at night. Get home from work and relax with a blunt or two. That's why people look down on drugs, people don't use them in moderation. All through high shcool I would get high most nights and be functional by the morning. When I say getting high I don't just mean weed either. I was an A student. What you have to remember is never perform an important task high, never be high around family and never put getting high before anything. That way you're good to go.

My break didn't last very long, maybe 3-4 days.

I realized that getting high is part of my lifestyle and there is nothing wrong with that. the amount of jwh I was smoking was becoming a problem but I cut way back so it's all good now.

High till I die!!

OH hell yeah.  I have quit and prefer my sober state now, hands down.  I still love the smell and hanging around stoners though...I feel like I can soak up their cannabis vibes without partaking myself.

I seem to enjoy life 10X more when I'm baked so I'm just going to keep on cheifin'. If I enjoy it there is no reason to quit. As long ad I use it in moderation it doesn't create any problems.

2-3 days? you couldn't even make it a full week, i think you should take a break from weed. it might make your life better and all but going 3 days is nothing, you should really try it stay sober for a month than comeback and tell use if you think weed should be a part of your life, i enjoy it but i really saw the difference after about a month of not smoking and now i have really cut back.

Happy BDay man! Nothing wrong with smoking til you die. I intend to do the same. I can't see me ever not getting high. I like other stuff, but weed is here forever.

Its just funny that he doesn't even want to try it just to see how it feels to be sober for once.

That guy will still be smoking joints on his death bed.
