Who is going to get this game? The beta comes out in may! If you look at the trailer the game looks solid but the jetpacks make it look like tribes alot.

god damn, frame rates are horrible. i honestly can't remember the last game i played that stuttered this much. i tried the new forge world level after doing a few levels of campaign and just walking out of the spawn tunnel where you overlook the level made the game lag. this is NOT what i was expecting at all from bungie.
aside from that it's pretty cool though.

I just got back from the midnight release, they gave me a $20 gift card for showing up which I wasn't expecting. 
Waiting for the game to download to my hard-drive right now...

tried this game out a month ago on my jtag. graphics looked great. this game probably set a record number of users on xia xlink at one time.

this is almost impossible to ask... this line of code has been devoutly asessed for gaming centuries now... but... how can you like a game with obvious flaws? like unappealing gameplay in one half of the game?

The single player was the best out of the series in my opinion, but for 99% of the player base it "doesn't appeal to them much" relative to multiplayer, because they will devote on average many multiples of the hours spent on campaign. I can't speak for arosechaos, but that's regardless of any supposed lack of appeal in half the game.

i'm just about done with the campaign. it's definitely right up there with the first halo in terms of quality. i mean, i don't think any game will ever live up to that first time you encounter the flood in 343 guilty spark, but reach is just as intense.
graphics are amazing, less the framerate issue and occasional pop-in textures...
i've decided my only complaint is that you have to give up an armor slot for sprint. that should be available by default. every other big shooter has a sprint/run button, so you feel painfully slow and restricted without it.

Dude, that has to be one of the most retarded questions I've heard.
The game isn't perfect, but its fucking awesome! Single player campaign isn't anything spectacular but multiplayer is the shit.

that's good to hear... and about the poster below you here, saying that it measures up to old school halo.
good. i'd believe it... if only so many people weren't knocking the mode of play that MOST games rely on for a basis for anything.
