hello. yesterday i have found 1 unknown mushroom and the rest i believe are Fairy Ring Champignon/Marasmius oreades? but because they have poisonous look alikes i have come to you in hope of reassurance, besides lib caps, these will be my first foraged for food mushroom and i would love to eat the right ones.
An important key feature of \Marasmius oreades you should know is that the stems are very flexible and tough. The lookalike mushrooms have stems that snap like most mushrooms. I have taken M. oreades and demonstrated tying one in a knot, something you can do with very few mushrooms.
