 Just how do you get up from an all time low ?

Just asking, this isn't a "my life is worse than yours" competition, and I don't want any gruesome details if you'd rather not share.

The arrogant cat stalks the humble mouse, the self important dog chases away the cat and is in turn unable to stand it's ground against the Proud lion. Then the lion is almost trampled underfoot of the enlightened elephant, who surprisingly and paradoxically yields to the humble mouse.

I'm riddled with maggots and puss and my eyeball is hanging out of it's socket and my pee pee is clogged. I'm not going to even mention the bad times.

Famous last words. "things can't get any worse than this." or "nothing can possibly go wrong" , just because you're at the bottom doesn't mean you won't stay there and fester for a while.

Does your regime of meditation, exercise/work and volunteer work, work for "all time low" situations or just the regular ups and downs of bi-polar disorder ?

Should I tell you all how we retrieve ourselves from the quicksands of despair ? You do it humbly without pride and by paying attention to life. This approach has helped me regain leverage during some of life's worst times.
