Im not sure on your mushrooms, Partially because this ID request is poorly done, maybe someone else will. Also the first two and last one appear to be different. I assume you know this?? Finally, I was at Priest lake about two weeks ago, Near Luby Bay. In the Forest there I found a Lentinus sp, probably ponderosus, two different Cantharellus, and Psilocybe ( now Deconica? correct?) montana in the forest. The D. montana was found in its described moss habitat and was fun to find! Good luck, Thats a beautiful lake and forest. Enjoy!

I didnt understand you were looking for actives, but you do not have any there. The bruising will be distinctly blue or bluish green. Nice porcini. Im actually kinda upset to see that picture as i knew i was BARELY missing the (quite incredible) King Bolete season up there. Good find none the less!

Inocybe and Cortinarius, toxic.
The actives you are looking for are Panaeolus cinctulus, Gymnopilus sp., and maybe something like Pluteus salicinus.
Idaho is pretty much the opposite of a hotspot for actives, but there are some of course.

There are no hot spots near Spokane.
But you will find plenty of Panaeolus cinctulus if you look in lawns and piles of horse manure.

ah yes, you are correct the magical mountain border. not big on my geography these days. i didnt realize spokane is right there on the idaho border. the magical line pretty much runs right up through BC as well up past pemberton.

I beg to differ with most of you. if you really do some research, you can find many good actives in north idaho. especially since season is starting out here. i have P. fimetaria and pelliculosa up the butt.

This post is over a year old, who cares. If you do find some be sure to post them in PNW actives thread.
