Yeah I mean I can see how void rays could be a pain in the ass occasionally, but really it not the unit thats the problem, its just that people get caught off guard , if they are scouted (even before the nerf) and the player knows how to respond, then they are damn near useless seeing as they lose to marines, hydras, and stalkers pretty hard.

lol i got into a 2v2 last night and this is how the convo went:
Him: sup
me: nothin, stoned, u?
Him: nothing - strategy?
me: mass gateway
Him: i'm going to cannon rush protoss, then transition straight into void rays
Somehow, we won.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY. well actually, i am not out of the loop... but i still dont trust myself. ive been playing a lot of 3v3 lately and getting stuck with badddd teammates or playing with this one guy, we are a pretty good team actually. its fuunnn

void rays got nerfed but they actually got boosted vs terren in my opinion...they do more damage on the first shot now but less on the second, so in long game yes it is a nerf against lets say BCs but normally marines are how i used to counter voids but now with the higher damage on the first shot they rape my marines and i have to begin mixing in some vikings or even thors to counter
anyways im a mid level platinum player and it seems ive maxed out my skills for now considering i just lost 9 1v1s in a row...but i guess thats the ranking system working the best it can and eventually ill drop down towards a 50% win loss ratio...if anyone is on a similar skill level id be happy to play some 1v1s or 2v2s or anything really
basically my macro is the best it can be at the moment in my opinion so every 1v1 i get into the early game is a wash and every game goes to late game and even though im even in resources and units i get the shit microed out of me and i lose everytime in the end....i need to learn to micro effectively or sadly i dont think ill advance past where im at
any tricks or guides to learning how to micro more effectively? cause that what will get me over the top

You bastard! I hate that cheese, I think it works better if you leave like 4-6 scvs and mule it up because then you can keep reinforcing or recover if he fights it off but loses most of his stuff.

Anyone on here play using a touch pad instead of a mouse?
I've been playing with a touch pad ever since i got the game, but i was thinking that it would be a little easier and quicker if i use a mouse... if only i could find my damn mouse. Even though i feel like im really good with the touch pad, my apm rating is rather low. Which bring me to my second question...
What type of Apm rating do you all have?
last game i checked mine was around 20 :/ but hopefully that was just a slow game haha

I have like 120 but don't pay attention to that. Just focus on doing the stuff. 20 is very low tho, play more games and it'll come easier.
