If you guys are interested I can start putting shit up on the mailing list again. There's been a bunch of great big name releases this year, which is pretty much the exact opposite of last year. I felt there was tons of good smaller artist/label releases last year.

Agreed, 2010 has and will be a great year for the indie scene.
The Shins are apparently in the studio, too so that'll be nice.
Blind Pilot is recording, Fleet Foxes should have something new.
It'll be good.

Oh, and I figured after the downloading side of this thread got shut down the thread would die, but I guess not. So, I guess I'll join in.
The Arcade Fire has a new CD out and I think it's pretty good. Listened to it a few times and I've really enjoyed it.

Well I guess that means I'll send some shit out.
I've got no class tomorrow so I can spend all day practicing and uploading. I've got plenty of albums to put up. Some have been out for a while but no harm in upping them I suppose.

do you kids know how i can filter my private messages so that i can view only the messages sent by the mailing list? there were a lot of things i wasn't able to dload while i was traveling. now i want to catch up, so i'm wondering if there's an easier way than sifting through a year's worth of PMs.

Do you pay for mediafire?
A month or so ago I realized that they had deleted all the CDs I uped after uping something.
Then a few days after I checked and they had deleted the CD I uped. I think they hate me.

No, it's free.
If someone files a report that it is an illegal upload they'll report it, but I think you also have to keep your profile active in order to keep stuff on there.
I know they deleted a design project I had uploaded onto there after a a month or so of me not logging in.

They said it was inactivity, but they deleted my entire library of 50+ CDs.
I was pissed and stopped using mediafire.
