So last weekend i saw Datsik & Excision...They had a 2.5 hour set together...
I've seen Datsik once before, but never Excision...
I'm going to be very honest, i really didn't enjoy their set...Maybe it was the acid that i took that made it sound horrible, perhaps they were drunk?....I dunno, i just didn't really dig the set "as a whole" 
But tomorrow night i'm going to see STARKEY!...Easily one of my favorite producers. He's playing a show in SF tomorrow night, and i'm really diggin' the rest of the line up as well...

planet mu was putting out some really great stuff in like '06/'07. meat beat manifesto's "autoimmune" is still fucking dope. i liked a few venetian snares releases on mu too. i always check 'em when i see something up on that label, but honestly i rarely pick anything up. i think i have one thing in my hold cart that's planet mu titled "cyclops". can't recall who wrote it though. i think i have a couple of starkey's tunes from last summer. i bet that'll be a fun show though.

Yea I saw Excision at Detroit Electronic Music Festival this past May and was definitely not feeling it, shitty. Too much ZZzzCHAINSAWzzZLAWNMOWER not enough melody or atmosphere.

Yea i dig a lot of the stuff that comes out on Planet Mu...Lots of certain sounds that i enjoy...
Starkey has come out with a quite an array of amazing tunes recently, he's definitely doin' thangs  ...Very creative IMO ....

It was absolute shit...I was very disappointed
The set did not flow what so ever...
Datsik & Excision have a few good tunes, but their stuff really isn't the type of sound i enjoy in Dubstep to begin with...
