What a great time! I went with Aninator and we met up with OMR and Yogabunny. OMR got me in for free, so all I had to do was score teh Aninator a ticket. I really didn't think that it was going to happen, but I lucked out and found a nice guy that sold me his extra.
They played a really good show in my opinion. I got a Reuben and Cherise, Dark Star>The Eleven>Dark Star, The Other One, Dear Mr. Fantasy, So Many Roads(I've never seen this one live.), Money For Gasoline, Mississippi Half Step, Tennesse Jed, Dancin', and Alligator. Really solid show.
I'm going with Aninator to see Primus and Gogol Bordello tonight. That should be a good time, as well.
Then, the OMG WTF NYC BBQ tomorrow!
Then, on Monday, OMR has his boss' tickets(Great seats supposedly) to see the Yankees play the Blue Jays!
This has been a great week with great people. It's really overwhelming the hospitality that has been given to me. I love my NYC people.

Yeah, when they first came out on stage, Phil grabbed the mic and said something along the lines of, "Yeah, I told Bobby today to never drink out of a drink when you don't know where it came from."
The show was really good. My highlight of the night was Reuben and Cherise. John sounds so much like Jerry that it's uncanny.

Well, last night was awful. I got food poisoning from this hibachi restaurant and ended up curled into the fetal position on my hotel room bed.
Ani and I went to see Primus and Gogol Bordello play at Williamsburg Waterfront Park. When we got there my stomach was aching a little, but nothing serious. Then, after Gogol Bordello finished, I started feeling real bad. I still managed to shake my ass a little, but it was steadily getting worse. After the show, we found a grocer that had some pepto bismol, so I got that to see if it would help at all. It didn't, so Ani and I caught a cab to her mom's house in Queens, so we could get her car. I finally puked for the first time on the way back to my hotel and it made me feel a lot better. Ani dropped me off and I just drank gatoraid and puked until about 3am. It just sucked because it was our last night hanging out and I wanted to rage until the break of dawn.
Fuck that japanese place!
