 Mushrooms don't work?!

Hey guys,
So, I have a large collection or relatively dried P. Subaeruginosa I've been picking all season.
I've brought them travelling with me, but i have had a bunch tonight and... nothing.
I know they HAVE worked. When I first picked and ate them... WOW.
But, now they don't seem to be doing anything. And I've had this problem a few times.
My drying process is under a very low heat in the oven for a long time, then I chop them up and freeze them.
I'm a little worried, because even though I've kept them frozen (mostly), i've noticed a funny smell coming from them now... a sort of musky, gross smell.
I feel like the sensible thing to do would be to throw them out, but this is a SHIT LOAD OF MUSHROOMS.
It hurts to throw out so much effort, from so many hunts!
What is everyone's opinion? Are these buggered? No psilocybe content / possible ickiness and vomiting expected?
I have already had some tea, hours ago, feel nothing, stomach is not noticeably sore (other than eating too much ICE CREAM! But that's a different matter)...
Fuck fuck fuck... I hate this!
Perhaps I'm too impatient with my drying and need to not be, or perhaps there's something else at play here...
ideas.. thoughts?

subs grow near mine, when i was a noob i misidentified these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galerina didn't munch them in the end though. do they bruise blue?

It's definitely not a miss ID. I've been hunting for years, I just usually don't end up storing... I eat all mine pretty soon after picking!
So, not n00b hunter, n00b storer!! My Subs were EXXXCEEELLEENNTTTT when I first picked them (same batch as I am consuming now).
Certainly not gonna mistake Galerina for P.Sub!!!

Last time I had any kind of psychedelic was over 2 weeks ago... don't think it'd be tolerance... I think my storage is just buggered. It's now many, many hours later... nothing, not a thing.
Disappointed, majorly...
I had lots, and lots and lots and an excellent patch, and it's pretty much end of season and i don't like paying for psychedelics and... arrggg... *spiral of disappointment*

The heat in the oven, even when low, is said to decrease potency. Also, if they weren't fully dried when you put them in the freezer the water in the cells could expand enough when frozen to rupture the cell walls. This increases the chance of the psilocin oxidizing.
This one time I went picking and got about a 2-4oz of wet shrooms. We went to a buddy's and like an idiot i stuck them all in the freezer. Later that day, when we decided to eat them, i took them out and put it all in a blender. I blended the shit out of them to make a tea-like drink and drank half of the pickings. I didn't trip at all. It was like I had eaten maybe 1 mushroom. I had a weird feeling and my stomach felt weird, but I wasn't tripping at all.
Now I've read that an easy way to get juice from the mushrooms is take fresh ones, stick them in the freezer, and then strain the juice from them after they are frozen. It could be that I dumped the extra juice out from the container when I made that tea. It was about 5 years ago, so my memory is a little fuzzy.

Thanks for the comments.
I reckon the cell wall idea and oven heat were probably it. It's the morning after now, and all I got was maybe the mildest, most slightest, most peripheral, probably desperate placebo effect.
My stomach felt a bit strange, the mushrooms smell off, and i'm annoyed. But, this is a learning lesson I guess.
Pretty annoyed it's a waste of sooo many mushrooms. Might give it one last try then ditch them.
*sigh*
And I thought I had a good supply for the summer.
