English is one of the hardest languages to learn, and it's not a mystery why some of us haven't been able to completely understand it.

well englishh is a complex language because its a mixture of like 2 or 3 different languages plus hundreds of years of evolutionary slang thrown into the mix
pretty soon the only words in the english language will be doin', feels, good, thangs, and man

English is hard to learn as an outsider, however most of us were brought up with it as our native language. Also, different usage of there, your, and then is something they teach you in 3rd grade.
It's like saying what's 7x4? Fuck it, 30 something. Math is too hard for me to care.

Although it bugs me too
I learned to read by five with little or no assistance and could speak above my class thereforth. My vocabulary is immense (having had a head start as such...) but some of the more complex standards (who/whom) are lost to me- usually the ones that aren't in common practice any longer.
The irony is that having an expansive vocabulary often results in gramatic incorrectness, with lots of words that sound good and work but are complete fabrications. As a result, even though my papers typically read with ease and fluidity; I am graded down on minor technicalities and such false-words regularly. It is infuriating that the evaluation of academic worth is no longer on the actual intellectual value of a piece of work but that of every nook and cranny of the proverbial grammar gestapo handbook.
I have come to the conclusion after attending three high schools, scraping through grades K-12 with minimum grades, and spending four semesters divided between two colleges that this extreme nit-picking has turned the youth of to being smart, and we are now instead pushing a very survival-centric culture where those who do not fit the (now very marginal) standardized medium simply give up and often fail to reach their potential due to the over-emphasization of a certificate society system.
I am smart enough that I will continute to zip by under the canopy, even if it takes me an extra year or so, and finally end up doing what I have discovered to satisfy me as a career. I have no doubt that through my individual pursuits and in combination with my education, I will achieve great wealth- in my eye anyway. However, it will take at least no less than five years longer than would otherwise be necessary- I already have the skills to be a service technitian, repair man, and general tinkerer today. At first upon realizing this I went into a depression months long, but I no longer resent it because I have realized the social practice I am building in college today will be priceless in ten years, as it has already proven itself to be. It just took me a bit to catch on.
Forums are a good sharpening block, even if nobody takes the time to read my drivel.

Use who/whom same as you use he/him:
Who went to the store with you? He went to the store with me.
With whom did you go to the store? I went to the store with him.
(Depends on which person is subject or object of the sentence.)

Real life/spoken mispronunciations are even better.
I've called out one person after a few times of him saying "copa-ste-dick"
I also had to convince a friend that it's longitude and latitude. He still remembered it, in his mid twenties, as the way he'd been taught, or longitude and "flatitude".

Ka duuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhah errrrr kadrrrrrrrrrrrrr
You know what else grinds my gears?
A mug, is not a glass, and a glass is not a mug, or a cup. A glass is made of glass or ceramic. A mug is is short, and has a handle. A cup is metal, plastic, styrofoam, etc. If I ask for a cup, because I'm wasted and wanting to pour myself another gin&juice, and you bring me a mug (that will never possibly keep up with my wasted-waddle with it's short little walls) or a thin glass that's going to cut my poor drunk feet when I step on it, I'm going to get 'bellig'.
